RANGE OF SERVICES BY INDUSTRIES
WHAT BELONGS TOGETHER
AND WHO GROWTH
There is only one thing that can be said for certain: The boundaries between land-line network, mobile telephony and internet will merge. The sub-markets IT, consumer electronics and media will therefore grow closer together. Established internet providers and particularly cable providers will evolve into serious competitors for established TV broadcasting providers, which compete with the respective Telco carriers themselves. Thus, each company has new competitors in a constantly changing market.
This also means that the more products and performance resemble each other the more important marketing, sales and service will be for a competitive edge.
Given the increasing cost pressure companies, however, face the challenge of trying to square the circle.
On the one hand, companies will optimise and increase the efficiency of their own marketing, sales and service organisation by focussing on target groups and their individual demands and needs. From product marketing to communications and target-group adequate sales, their goal is to offer their customers comprehensive solutions and thus win their loyalty.
On the other hand, we will see new business development and expansion into new markets and target-groups. New products services, usually combined with technology innovations, are presented almost every single day. The ideal solution is to select the products “with a future” and bring them to the market. Companies can only achieve this with a growing degree of professionalism and a closer integration into the classical marketing and sales areas.
